The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), Ms. Margaret Ansei, has reiterated her agency’s commitment to empowering young people through strategic partnerships and impactful initiatives.
Speaking at the official launch of the Youth Futures Initiative and Stakeholder Engagement, jointly organised by the Mastercard Foundation and the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana, Legon, Ms. Ansei served as both keynote speaker and panelist.
She praised the long-standing partnership between the Ghana Enterprises Agency and the Mastercard Foundation, citing the BizBox and HAPPY Projects as key examples of how collaboration can transform lives.
“These projects have not only provided skills and training for thousands of young Ghanaians but have also created pathways to employment and entrepreneurship,” she said.
Ms. Margaret Ansei emphasized that the GEA will continue to work with both local and international institutions to unlock the potential of Ghana’s youth and create sustainable opportunities for the country’s future.
“The future of Ghana lies in the hands of its young people. We are committed to resetting Ghana through innovation, support, and collaboration,” she added.
The event, which brought together key stakeholders from academia, government, and the private sector, focused on strategies to address youth unemployment and promote inclusive economic growth.
