In a renewed push to promote transparency and enhance public trust, the Communications Office of the Presidency will launch a new initiative dubbed “The Government Accountability Series” on Monday, 14th July 2025.
The series, which forms part of broader efforts to ensure openness in governance, is designed to provide Ghanaians with regular updates on the government’s performance, particularly over the last six months. It will feature presentations from key sector ministers who will deliver Mid-Year reports on progress made in their respective portfolios.
According to the Presidency, the series will run three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—at 11:00 a.m.
The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, is scheduled to open the series with a comprehensive update on developments within the interior ministry.
The Government Accountability Series is expected to become a consistent mechanism through which the public can engage with policy outcomes, monitor progress, and hold leadership to account.
