Ghana’s leading urban radio station, YFM, has paid a working visit to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Mr. Osman Ayariga Esq., as part of efforts to deepen collaboration ahead of the upcoming Youth Month celebrations.
The delegation from YFM was led by the Director of Broadcasting, Dr. Timothy Karikari, and held discussions with the NYA boss on areas of possible cooperation geared towards achieving developmental goals among Ghanaian youth.
In a brief but significant gesture, YFM presented a citation to Mr. Ayariga in recognition of his exemplary leadership and the positive strides the Authority has made under his watch to uplift the lives of young people across the country. The team also encouraged him to continue the impactful work.
Receiving the delegation, Mr. Osman Ayariga expressed appreciation for the honour and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment. He emphasized that the NYA remains open to strategic partnerships with institutions that share the vision of improving the welfare and potential of the youth.
“As a government and an Authority, we are determined to ensure that young people are equipped with the tools and platforms they need to succeed. We welcome this collaboration with YFM and look forward to working together to make Youth Month a success,” Mr. Ayariga said.
The meeting marks the beginning of a collaborative journey between YFM and the NYA to amplify youth-focused initiatives and further promote development among the younger generation.
